Award-winning Polish remote video interpreting

My name is Luke Ciolek and I'm a professional Polish interpreter based in London. I hold M.A. in translation and interpreting and Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) - the Law option. I was the best DPSI (Law) candidate of 2017 for which the Chartered Institute of Linguists awarded me the Susan Tolman Award for outstanding achievement.

I have worked as a Polish interpreter for more than 6 years and have accumulated more than 2000 hours of interpreting experience. I work for the UK justice system as well as the NHS, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and other public sector organisations.

Online interpreting: convenient and affordable

Remote video interpreting makes it possible to access my services easily and at lower prices than for face-to-face meetings. If your booking doesn't require an interpreter to attend in person or it's held in a distant location, remote interpreting is the best alternative.

I will share a link with the client that allows up to 10 people to join the video conference. The non-English speaker may either be present at the client's venue and share their webcam, or may join separately from her own location. The system requirements for video interpreting are the following:

  • Broadband connection to the internet of around 3 mbps.
  • USB or build-in web camera.
  • Any quad-core processor.
  • A current version of Chrome web browser.

How much do my video interpreting services cost?

My fees are set out in the table below. I don't charge an hourly rate, but provide the service in increments of 2-hour blocks. The prices remain the same regardless of the number of participants and their locations.

Booking duration Price
up to 2 hours £75
up to 4 hours £125
up to 6 hours £175
up to 8 hours £225

How to book me?

You can book online by completing a short booking form. I aim to respond to all enquiries within 1 - 2 hours. If I'm not available at the time requested by the client, I will suggest other available dates in my reply.
