Polish interpreting at reasonable prices
My fees for interpreter services depend on the mode of interpretation required. I provide consecutive, conference, and remote video interpreting. Regardless of the type, I don't charge an hourly rate, but provide the service in increments of 2-hour blocks.
Consecutive interpreting
It's the most common type of oral translation. It usually takes place during face-to-face meetings between two or more parties and when the interpreter attends the meeting in person. The participants speak in turns and make pauses to allow the interpreter to carry out the interpretation.
I use this mode of interpretation whenever I work as a court interpreter or as a medical interpreter. The costs below are inclusive of all travel charges within the 20-mile radius by road from W6 0XL (which covers most of the Greater London area). Above the 20-mile mark, an extra travel charge of £2.50 per mile will be applied.

Conference interpreting
Other names for this type of oral translation are simultaneous interpreting or booth interpreting. Typically, it takes place during business or professional conferences when there is a speaker and a group of listeners. Interpreting is carried out simultaneously with the speaker by means of an audio system with headphones for the participants and a booth/microphone for the interpreter.
Because this mode of interpretation is very demanding, two interpreters are normally needed to provide the service. In the case of shorter assignments up to 2 hours, where the volume of speech to be interpreted isn't expected to be very large, I might be able to carry it out single-handedly.
The prices below are inclusive of all travel charges within the 20-mile radius from W6 0XL and they cover my fees only. I can assist with finding a co-interpreter, however their costs and terms may be different. Audio equipment (a booth or tour guide system) should be arranged by the client.

Remote video interpreting
In the case of bookings where the interpreter's presence on-site isn't needed or travelling isn't practicable, interpreting via a video link is a convenient and affordable alternative.
Before the meeting, I will share a link that allows up to 10 people to join the video conference. The non-English speaker may either be present at the client's venue and share their webcam, or may join separately from any location in GB. The prices below remain the same regardless of the number of participants and their locations.

System requirements for video interpreting:
- Broadband connection to the internet of around 3 mbps
- USB or build-in web camera
- Any quad-core processor
- A current version of Chrome web browser

You can book online by completing a short booking form. I aim to respond to all enquiries within 1 - 2 hours. If I'm not available at the time requested by the client, I will suggest other available dates in my reply.
